For some reason I can't load any of the saved games for GTA3. What can I do to fix this?

I got the savegame fix and the saved games load now. But the game crashes every time I get close to finishing the mission where I need to kill a chinese noodle-seller! What could be wrong!?!?!?

i need all mission done but not the last as i want to see how the game ends with cinimax well if any of u finished the game pls tell me what is the last cos i have seen till he take maria and maria start to talk and some voice of maria comes liks she has been shot is there any thing more after that or that's it...

I tried the drop and drag system to switch the files and it worked
Then i tried the game but none of the files were there, for example i downloaded the sonow man skin then droped it in to the gta3 user files. I then started the game and went in to PLAYER SETUP in options but the snowman skin was not there

I accidently deleted my savegame. Fortunately I found an Undelete tool, but after placing the recreated savegame back into the directory (the filesize was the same as before deletion so it should be correct) the game hangs when clicking on Load game! Dammit, I don't wanna start all over again. I don't wanna get a savegame that has all 3 islands either. Can anyone give me a savegame from the time where you have passed like the first 5 missions of all your employers (A,D,K) on the 2nd island? I would be very thankful!

There isn't 4th island on GTA3. I have completed all missions, but I haven't got the 4th island.

There is a fourth island on gta3
you need to do all missions get all hidden packages do all rampages (kill frenzys)do all Unique stunt bounus's etc if someones on the 4th island please put a save file on this site or somewhere!
